A claude ai seo system is a setup where Claude Code runs your whole SEO process from real Google Search Console data: keyword research, writing, publishing, indexing and reporting. That's exactly how we run ours, and it's behind over 185,000 Google clicks across five of our websites. Here's the full pipeline, the stack, the rules and how to copy it.

Why most AI SEO guesses
Here's how most people use AI for SEO. They open a chat, type "give me keywords for my niche", and publish whatever comes back. The problem is the AI is guessing. It has no idea what your site already ranks for, what Google is showing you for, or where you're getting impressions and no clicks.
The fix is simple. Stop asking Claude to guess and give it your real data. Everything in this system starts from Search Console. Not sure your data is set up right? Get a free SEO strategy session.
The proof it works: the AI Profit Boardroom site went from 412 clicks a month in July 2025 to 18,036 in September 2026. All numbers come from our own Search Console accounts, pulled on October 24, 2026. My full setups for this sit inside the AI Profit Boardroom ($69/mo), with the Agent OS, a 30-day AI SEO roadmap, daily tutorials and 4 coaching calls a week.
The claude ai seo system, step by step
Eight steps. Run them in order the first time, then they turn into a loop.
Step 1: Give Claude your real data
Connect Claude to Google Search Console with a service account. Now Claude can pull your real queries, impressions, clicks and pages instead of making things up. This is the foundation. Skip it and everything after is a guess.
Step 2: Teach Claude your rules with skills
Next, write your rules down once as skills. Anthropic's docs explain it like this: you create a SKILL.md file with instructions, and Claude adds it to its toolkit. We run three:
- Keyword research for finding gaps.
- SEO articles for writing and publishing on our static sites.
- WordPress posts for our WordPress sites.
Skills mean Claude follows the same rules every time, on every site. More on how we build them in the Claude AI SEO skill guide.
Step 3: Find the keywords you're missing
A real content gap has three things: impressions, zero clicks, and no page made for it. Google is already showing you for that search, but you've got nothing built to win the click.
Here's the lesson we learned the hard way. Judge the gap by the page Google actually ranks, not by a list of pages you think you have. If you check against your own list, you'll find "gaps" you've already covered and build duplicates.
Step 4: Turn the list into a plan
Claude takes the gap list and turns it into a publishing plan. Which keyword, which site, which page. No random content, just pages tied to searches you already show up for.
Step 5: Write and publish
Now Claude writes and publishes. One keyword becomes ten unique articles on ten sites. Not ten copies, ten genuinely different pages.
Every page follows the same rules: one keyword per URL, and once the URL is live, never change it. Titles built around the keyword, answer-first intros, FAQ schema and E-E-A-T.

Step 6: Get it indexed
A page Google hasn't indexed can't rank. We push every new link through the Indexceptional API so new pages get picked up instead of sitting in a queue.
Step 7: Show up in AI search
Add structured data to every page: Article and FAQ. Clean, answer-first pages with that markup are what AI search can pull from. On one of our newer sites, this approach is ranking #1 in Google and in AI search.
Step 8: Track it
Last step: reporting. We built a plain-English dashboard, so I can just ask "How are my sites doing?" and get an answer. No spreadsheets, no digging through Search Console menus. Then the data feeds straight back into Step 3 and the loop starts again.

The tech stack
You don't need much:
- Claude Code as the engine. Anthropic calls it an agentic coding tool that reads your codebase, edits files, runs commands and integrates with your development tools.
- Google Search Console with a service account for the data.
- Static sites built with Eleventy, hosted on Netlify, in plain HTML. Fast and hard to break.
- WordPress for the sites that already run on it, through the WordPress posts skill.
- Indexceptional API for indexing.
- Agent OS to run it all day to day. The Agent OS guide walks through it, and Goldie Bench shows how I test which models are worth running.
The rules that keep it working
- One keyword per URL. Never stack two keywords on one page.
- Never change a live URL. Pick it once and leave it.
- Data first. No keyword gets a page unless Search Console backs it.
- Check the ranking page. Judge gaps by the page Google actually ranks.
- Unique, not copied. Ten sites means ten genuinely different articles.
- Index everything. Every new link goes through the API.
